Ultraviolet Light
Electromagnetic radiation having a wavelength shorter than
3900 angstroms, and longer than 100 angstroms. This wavelength range
places ultraviolet light between the visible light spectrum and the
x-ray spectrum. Ultraviolet light radiation is often used as a disinfectant.
